About Us
With these three people, Flowers of Comfort began the first Monday in April 2018. We wanted to fill the void the closure of Random Acts of Flowers Silicon Valley had left. So, with the urging of Hospice of the Valley, San Jose Branch, Flowers of Comfort was born. We wanted to continue the RAF mission of bringing cheer, through flowers, to those that need it the most. We currently deliver to those in hospice care, eldercare and a veteran housing facility.
Our work is possible due to vase donations from the community, and floral donations from wholesalers, florists, weddings, corporate events, and life celebrations.
We are totally staffed by dedicated volunteers and funded by donations which are used exclusively to help us purchase floral supplies, greenery, tools and equipment.

Using donated vases, our volunteers lovingly create thoughtful arrangements for those on hospice care, the elderly and our veterans in a local housing facility.
